As a VC Analyst, you will become an important part of the team, engaged in:- Conducting in-depth market research, financial analysis, and comprehensive due diligence on potential investment opportunities.
- Identifying, evaluating, and executing investments that align with our strategic goals.
Location: Moscow
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessing the investment attractiveness of projects and existing startups, as well as their growth potential.
- Analyzing the global and local venture market, researching competitors, sectors, and business models.
- Preparing analytical materials and presentations for investment committees based on conducted analyses.
- Working with portfolio startups: regularly compiling analytics on companies and competitors.
- Building and analyzing financial models, including asset valuation.
- Conducting cohort analysis of unit economics.
- Monitoring budget execution and analyzing variances.
- Overseeing the implementation of investment projects.
- Participating in venture deals with high-tech startups.
- Engaging in venture-related events, seeking investment targets, and interacting with participants in the venture market (angels, funds, corporations).
Requirements:
- A desire to develop in the field of technology investments and a strong interest in the venture market.
- At least 1 year of experience in consulting, strategic departments, business valuation, or analytics. Experience in a venture fund or corporate venture division is a plus.
- Knowledge of startup unit economics, cohort analysis, as well as skills in building and analyzing financial models and asset valuation.
- Strong analytical abilities and the capability to present information effectively.
- Proficiency in English sufficient for communication with startups and partners, as well as for working with deal documentation.
- Ability to work independently.
