The role :

• Develop, in collaboration with the local top-management and HQ, a comprehensive health and safety policy aligned with global industry best practices for sites in Russia.
• Establish and actively lead a HSE committee. Coordinate with local managers to implement strategies and objectives, fostering engagement at all levels with ambitious content and a sense of urgency. Promote a culture of incident prevention and best practices.
• Engage, challenge, and influence all levels of management in Russia regarding their approach to health and safety, and the company's performance in this area. Provide support, tools, internal/external references, and necessary information to raise awareness among different hierarchical levels and field personnel regarding health and safety issues.
• Provide appropriate reporting on health and safety matters to management in Russia.
• Conduct regular audits, both on-site and document-based, to ensure compliance of sites and operations in Russia with the Group's health and safety policy.
• Analyze safety incidents, particularly the most severe ones, conduct investigations in accordance with legislation and internal procedures, and initiate relevant corrective and preventive actions.
• Communicate internally and externally on positive progress made; recognize and reward achievements and safe behaviors in health and safety.
• Collaborate with the HR department to ensure that health and safety services have appropriate resources and that career progressions are managed. Evaluate and define needs and a schedule for internal/external training (legally required or exceeding legal requirements) in health and safety, and contribute to the development of suitable internal training materials.

• Establishment of a culture of continuous improvement in health and safety.

The Candidate:

• Higher education
• 3+ years experience in a HSE role inside a large industrial or agrobusiness company
• Experience in international company with high level of HSE standard
• Knowledge of the local regulations
• Proven track record in development and implementation of HSE procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze incidents and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
