Aramco Research Center in Moscow is offering great job opportunities for a driven, talented, and energetic scientist with knowledge in geochemistry, minerals prospecting and mining to join our growing Advanced Materials team. Advanced materials can play a key role in the creation of more economical and higher-performing compounds, materials, and methods for the demanding field applications of upstream oil and gas discovery and recovery operations and minerals prospecting and extraction. These applications span or accompany drilling, production, and reservoir engineering challenges. Geochemical Scientist will be responsible for independently performing laboratory experiments, using analytical tools, interpreting results, and forecasting.

Responsibilities:

• Analyzing scientific literature and planning work in the research area.
• Planning and conducting laboratory experiments.
• Coordinating and conducting analytical studies.
• Systematizing the results of experimental work and analytical studies.
• Preparing scientific projects, reports, writing patents, papers, and presentations at conferences.
• Coordinating collaborative research with colleagues and research partners.
• Assisting with general laboratory work.
• Participating in team meetings.

Requirements:

• Master of Science degree in Geochemistry, Soil Science.
• More than 5 years of field and laboratory experience.
• PhD degree in a relevant area is a great advantage.
• Knowledge of the evolution of geologic processes, understanding of the geochemical behavior of elements in the Earth's crust, and mineral-fluid interactions.
• Experience in mineral prospecting and mining processes.
• Knowledge of planning and conducting laboratory experiments and using analytical tools (XRD, XRF, SEM-EDX, ICP-OES/MS, FTIR).
• Experience with international scientific literature and patents.
• Experience in preparing scientific reports, articles, and presentations.
• Knowledge of English at a level not lower than Upper-Intermediate (reading specialized literature, communication skills).
• Knowledge of lab safety and standard operating procedures is essential.
