Following the strategy for growth in Russia the Successful Candidate will direct, plan, organize, develop & control all activities of the entire Supply Chain function (production planning, transport, warehousing, inbound/outbound logistics) in order to assure a high level of consistency, synergy and alignment in the functioning of the managed sub-functions, whilst complying with customer needs and production constraints. This job reports to the GM Russia CIS. It has a critical impact on the supply chain in several countries and several sites

Key responsibility

• Lead and manage the Demand, Material / Import FG / Local Production Planning, Warehousing (Inbound/Outbound Logistics) / Back office service / Transport service within a matrix organization which operates in line with the centralized strategy and policies
• Drive Supply Chain improvements whilst balancing business capability to meet Demand Plans, aligned with inventory and other budget targets
• Responsible for the overall development of the SCM function you will structure, develop and manage the teams to deliver and manage an end to end Supply Chain and Logistics system whilst supporting the strategic development of Russian and CIS supply chain networks
• Providing support to the Operational Management/Leadership team you will manage the indirect expenditure allocated to the SCM cost centers
• Formulation of new service strategies to drive continuous improvement and aligning systems, you will lead the implementation of inventory and service improvements

Technical qualifications

• High achiever academically within a Management and/or Engineering or/and Logistics discipline, preferably with associated professional qualifications
• At least 10 years of relevant experience within an industrial environment including min. 7 years of experience within Supply Chain
• Work experience in Manufacturing, SC or Logistics
• Proven leadership experience, managing an end to end Supply Chain function, in a matrix organization, ideally within a demanding high volume Manufacturing, Distribution or B2B organization
• Solid understanding of the Supply Chain processes
