The cloud workflow system ApprovalMax provides multi-step and multi-role approvals for SMB business. Coupled with Xero and QuickBooks Online accounting systems, it enables a flexible definition of approval authorisation levels and automation of approval processes for finance and accounting. To strengthen our execution, we are looking for full-time system analyst to work on the system requirements for our product.
Job Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with Product and Engineering teams to design, reverse engineer and document requirements for billing system products
- Taking ownership of new billing & operations automation related features of the product: collecting & analysing needs of the business and customers, proposing solutions, investigating external APIs, writing functional requirements, communicating & coordinating the feature delivery with development, marketing, sales, operations, providing training on new features for support & customer success
- With the help of marketing and growth team drive the process of analysing the current state of billing processes and UX, plan activities for improvements: create hypothesis, write requirements, coordinate development, gather results
- Keep centralised requirements repository (Confluence) clean and up to date
- Work with QA team to design automated test scenarios for functionalities
Required Skills:
- 2+ years of work experience in System Analytics or Product Management
- Proven understanding of software engineering approaches
- Knowledge of requirement engineering methods and tools
- Software engineering experience is preferred
- Experience with tools and philosophy of continuous delivery app lifecycle (version control, issue tracking, building, deployment, auto tests, etc.)
- A self-starter who can work well on his own and as part of a team
- Responsiveness
- English language skills sufficient to have meetings with English-speaking colleagues
