The mission of this role is to lead and set the direction of the A&H Direct Marketing for Russia. The role will work closely with Country and Regional management to develop and implement strategic initiatives, which will assure the long-term growth of production and profits for A&H.
Key Accountabilities
Lead the Russia A&H DM business to deliver planned operating and financial results:
- Build and develop the A&H insurance line in order to achieve or exceed the annual targets budgeted on both top and bottom line
- Responsible for the achievement of financial targets for revenue, profit, and growth
- Monitor profit and loss indicators, ensuring timely and accurate identification and implementation of the necessary research, measurements, and actions to achieve the planned profit and loss indicators
- Conduct business within the planned cost levels with full compliance with the Company's procedures, as well as ensuring strict compliance with legal requirements
Execute A&H plans and strategies:
- Build and win a pipeline of Direct Marketing Sponsors
- Development of A&H sales through telemarketing and digital channels
- Maintain and further develop relationships with sponsors and partners in order to ensure the growth of profitability indicators within Direct Marketing Russia
- Lead channel, product, and market expansion. Monitor pipeline tracking efficiency and performance
- Manage partner sales projects
Work with multiple stakeholders to plan and execute business
- Establish and leverage strong relationships with Regional and Country leadership
- Creation of insurance products in coordination with the regional office. Lead the A&H product development process to stay ahead of the market
- Build and maintain appropriate, strong, and effective business relationships with key external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with technical and functional departments across the wider business
Move the organization forward via direct and functional reports:
- Recruit and develop A&H country resources skilled in growing an A&H Digital and Direct Marketing business
- Be an inspirational manager for the team which will grow as the business develops according to plan
- Drive a culture that promotes innovation, collaboration, diversity, and inclusion
What we are looking for
- Minimum of 5 years successful partnership development experience. Experience in managing partner sales and understanding the specifics of their business
- Preferred minimum of 5 years insurance experience with an up-to-date understanding of A&H products, market trends, and business operational environment.
- Knowledge and experience in sales, especially in digital sales and telemarketing, including sales management through an external call center.
- B2B and B2C sales and negotiation experience.
- Background of direct contact and negotiations with external customers.
- Key account management exposure and experience
- A detailed understanding of client segmentation analysis practices
- A track record of successfully leading and managing people, working through others to achieve results.
