We are currently looking for our new Deputy Chief Accountant. In your role you will report to the Chief Accountant, Russia.
Your main tasks will be:
- Participation in the preparation and timely release of complete and reliable accounting and supervisory reports.
- Preparation of statistical reports on form 1-C.
- Participation in the preparation and timely release of the Company's annual statistical reports.
- Assistance to the Chief Accountant in the reconciliation of balance sheets with the tax Inspectorate
- Calculation of the RPNU (Reserve for Undeclared Losses) in accordance with the current legislation
- Timely execution of transactions on the RPNU.
- Keeping records of other debtors and creditors, issuing invoices, invoices and certificates of work readiness.
- Submission of declarations to the appropriate authorities on the elimination of double taxation. Obtaining certificates of confirmation of the Company's tax residency in the Russian Federation for submission to the tax authorities of other countries.
- A thorough study of changes in legislation in order to constantly monitor the compliance of accounting and tax accounting and reporting with the current legislation.
- Assistance to the Chief Accountant in preparing documents and calculations during audit / tax audits.
- Coordination of work and assistance to the accounting department staff on all issues related to accounting and reporting of optional reinsurance.
- Control over the compliance of accruals for incoming reinsurance operations with the terms of reinsurance contracts,
- Acting as Internal Inspector as required by local Regulator.
We are looking for someone who has:
- Strong team leadership skills, with the ability to direct and motivate staff

- Strong focus on attention to detail and the desire to deliver accuracy and quality.

- Able to work under pressure and to strict deadlines.
Key Experience:
- Previous experience within Insurance industry preferred.
- At least 2 years previous experience of Deputy CA role
- Advanced English
