This is a once-in-lifetime opportunity to take part in creation of a new technological revolution: 5G. We are looking for seasoned software engineers who enjoy getting things done at the very core — on development tools / system software level, never stop learning and ready for a position that is both challenging and rewarding.
What you’ll be doing?
- Making sure Golang-based 5G software stack is fast, efficient and highly secure. This includes:
- Performance analysis of Golang-based software stack
- Development of advanced features and optimizations in Golang compiler and runtime
- Development of software tools for Golang security hardening
- Development and analysis of new Go language features
- Active participation in Golang open-source community to push boundaries of what Golang can do
- Presenting results to the company’s product groups
- Learn all the time. The company encourages attending international conferences, and expects employees to stay on the cutting edge of technology
What we expect from you?
- BS / engineering degree in a computer science related discipline or 3+ years of relevant industry software development experience
- Expert knowledge of Golang
- Experience in virtual machines / runtime development for managed languages like Golang, Java, .NET, etc is a big plus
- Experience in compiler development is a big plus
- Strong knowledge of algorithms and algorithmic complexity theory
- Experience of working in Linux environment; advanced knowledge of Unix command-line development tools
- Conversationally fluent English. A language certificate is not required, but ability to pass an interview in English is a must.
- Experience of working in large multinational technology companies is a plus
- Experience of working in universities / research institutes is a big plus
- Track record of participating in recognized technical conferences (either as a speaker or a program committee member) is a plus
