Petrel Consultant / Geoscience Support Specialist

One of our biggest Clients (International Oil & Gas Company) is looking for "Petrel Consultant / Geoscience Support Specialist"
Location: Moscow, Russia
Work schedule: Mon-Fri
Responsibilities:
- Maintain data integrity in project data repository (ArcGIS and Petrel projects);
- Find, retrieve & transfer data between data repositories, project databases and work projects;
- Provide application and workflow / process support to Geoscience support:
- Data Manipulation – Convert, transform, reposition or modify original source hardcopy and digital spatial data.
- Data Integrity – Ensure and maintain accuracy and consistency of well and seismic data in corporate repositories and project databases.
- Application Support – Expert knowledge in Petrel.
- Technical Support:
- Support Geoscience staff and overall Exploration process. Assist users in the proper use of geoscience applications, short of running the application to produce products for the user. This may involve the creation of templates, implementing a workflow (i.e. figure out how to do something and then train others);
- Proactively monitor the users to identify opportunities for advocating simpler, more streamlined processes, the use of more appropriate tools and recommending training;
- Provide hands on support and consultation. Be aware of application and system changes. Minimize impact to geoscientists;
- Assist geoscience application users to resolve software problems.
Requirements:
- Extended experience with Petrel;
- Experience providing support to Geoscience and Exploration staff;
- English from Upper-Intermediate.
