В обязанности соискателя входит следующее:
— Responsible for daily GTS SPL screening and new materials workflow requests.
— Determine tariff classification and maintain the regulatory requirement in the database, determine country of origin, respond to ad hoc trade compliance related requests.
— Conduct material qualification process for exported products to support FTA eligibility for the products.
— Develop, implement and maintain trade compliance programs, standards and procedures (metrics, post-entry audit, third party supplier compliance, etc.).
— Address Customs inquiries and Customs audits and serve as liaison with Customs.
— Stay on the top of the regulation developments, interpretation the regulatory requirements and assess the actions/changes required to keep compliance.
— Provide trainings to the organization on regulation, programs, procedures and trade compliance related topics.
— Support to identify benefits through tariff strategies, utilization of FTA and other trade programs to optimize benefits while limiting company's customs risks.
— Support on risk assessment, driving process improvement and implementing necessary internal control.
— Assist in assurance that import and export activities are executed in compliance with all applicable regional laws and regulations.
— Support other initiatives and projects as required.
— Interacts with headquarters (Europe) on all issues trade compliance related requests, internal supply control, customs.
Компанией к работнику предъявляются следующие желательные требования:
— Three or more years' experience and knowledge of import-export regulatory requirements of Customs and other government agencies.
— Bachelor degree or above, major in international trade/supply chain/logistics preferred.
— Must have excellent English or French skills in both speaking and writing.
— Knowledge and understanding of AP customs practices and procedures.
— Expertise in tariff classification determination preferred.
— Proven ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
— Must possess solid Oracle or CRM system and process management skills.
— Must have excellent demonstrated interpersonal skills.
— Must be able to work in a fast paced environment with complex business scenarios.
— Must have strong problem solving skills.
— Must possess the following skills: Teamwork, Leadership, Communication, Quality, Efficiency, Innovation, Market Focus, Action oriented and Results driven.
— Must have time management skills: prioritize the multiple tasks, deadline driven.
— Experience in handling Customs Audits, Customs inquiries and Customs valuation
— Knowledge of Free Trade Agreement
— A self-starter and with capability of planning and managing multiple tasks
— Pro-active attitude and ability to sort urgencies and prioritize tasks
— Ability to work with cross-functional teams and a good team player
