Bitfury is hiring FP&A - Financial Analyst based in Moscow, Russia.

This role is critical to support the wider business on commercial modelling. Responsible for understanding in detail both the technical and commercial intricacies of Bitfury and the industry as a whole. This will allow them to produce bespoke financial modelling for multiple scenarios, taking into consideration the specifics of how our production chain works and the wider market implications.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Working closely with the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis to develop financial models and support the wider business on commercial projects.
• Integrating yourself into the business to fully understand our production process and how this translates into and impacts the financial modelling.
• Thorough understanding of the dynamics of BTC price and Hashing Network along with the technical understanding of the performance of our equipment and key drivers, to understand the impact of any changes, breakeven points and total cost of ownership calculations.
• Update weekly cashflow model, carefully monitoring cash performance to support large growth.
• Working Closely with the business to support both sales and vendor deal proposals, providing real time, actionable information.
• Supporting C Suite on M&A opportunities.
• Keeping up to date with market information on Hash rates, BTC pricing, transaction fees, changes in difficulty etc and comparing data to Bitfury performance.
• Deep analysis on company metrics to provide critical insights and financial data to the team as well as the ability to take a holistic view.
• Support the month end, forecast and budget process in helping to consolidate, review and pull together supporting presentations.
• Develop new financial models across the business to support key stakeholders.
• Ad-hoc finance and strategy projects.

Qualifications:

An ideal candidate should have:

• A graduate degree from a top university.
• Ideally, Accountancy qualification (ACA, or CIMA) or equivalent big 4 trained.
• Work experience: 3-5 years in a commercial finance, analytical or strategy role at one of the following:
  • A valuation, M&A or due diligence department of a Big4 company;
  • A leading consulting company (Big3 + Big4+ Strategy Partners/RB/ATKearney);
  • A leading technology company;
  • IB/PE.
• Strong spoken and written English skills.
• Excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills are a must; VBA and SQL knowledge is desirable.
• Has excellent structuring and analytical skills.
• Knowledge or a strong desire to learn semiconductor and software sector economics.
