We are glad to invite a highly qualified QA Engineer to our team of a global start-up project in the field of online tourism!
The project has been in development for a year now, a lot of work has been done. The project is large and very interesting (at least for us), the idea is new and bright, innovative (including from a niche point of view), coverage - the whole world! A trial / first launch is planned in an EU country. Planned to go online by the end of the summer! - before that, we have a lot still to do, we need to check everything, double-check, test and retest ... and at the end, come out with a high-quality product.

Role: Quality Assurance Engineer
Position Summary:
Duties: create, implement, maintain and recommend changes to test cases and test procedures for an Online Travel platform and validate software application using manual testing.
The candidate will work with Developers and Project Manager in defining and designing performance test tools and infrastructures and building performance and test infrastructure. Manage engineers to ensure thorough test coverage and test performance before production launch date.
- Design and implement test strategies, test plans, functional and performance test cases, policies, infrastructures for ensuring high quality software for our online travel agency and mobile devices.
- Promote standard test methodologies for use throughout the company.
- Specify test equipment required for product verification or qualification testing.
- Provide training of Qualification test personnel as required to ensure thorough test coverage.

- Analyze and manage issues detected by QA engineers to professionally present issue reports to upper management.
- Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science/Engineering or related field with at least three (3) years of experience in job offered or related occupation such as Test Lead or Quality Assurance engineer.
- Travel may be required.
- English language is a must.
- Testing experience with systems built with Mongo DB, Golang, Rest is a plus.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Minimum 3 years of system/software QA experience. (Online Travel Agency or similar experience is preferred)
- Experience testing on mobile devices
- Demonstrated experience in functional and performance testing
- Proven experience in QA life cycle, from test plan, test execution, to reporting bugs
- Knowledge of software development models and their impact to testing
- Understands API call flows and procedures
- Develops and maintains excellent proactive, working relationships with all appropriate levels within and outside the company
- Read, interpret and act on proper understanding of technical documents, engineering test materials and contracts or related documents based on corporate legal and provider APIs, engineering standards and philosophy.
- Demonstrates competency in communication skills using both oral and written methods for internal and external personnel at all management and staff organisational levels
