IPONWEB, a world leading company in building custom programmatic solutions, is looking for a DevOps engineerto take part in a flagship product development.

Role/Responsibilities:

• Support, design and develop new product line CI system;
• Refine deploy process in collaboration with external teams;
• Build friendly development and testing environments for project teams;
• Help software engineers with day-to-day automation tasks;
• Maintain CI / Infrastructure / Deploy documentation;
• Be able to provide code inspections, reviews on a good level.

Skills/Requirements:

• Accountability;
• Linux CLI;
• Shell scripting;
• Expertise in working with automation servers (any of) Jenkins / Bamboo / TeamCity;
• Experience in RDBMS support (practically postgres, but others would be great too);
• Good knowledge of SCM (Git and/or Mecrurial);
• Experience in building complex systems;
• Knowledge of any object oriented programming language (static or dynamically typed);
• Accuracy in writing code and documentation.

Desired:

• Google cloud platform knowledge;
• NoSQL databases support (Cassandra, ELK, MongoDB)
• Understanding of design principles;
• Experience in working in Agile development;
• Understanding of design patterns and OOP;
• Understanding of cloud design patterns;
• Experience in developing service level objectives and agreements;
• Familiarity with Groovy (Jenkins pipelines)
