Therefore, we are looking for a Chief Accountant, who will be responsible for all accounting activities of the Company in Russia.

The principal goal for this role is to timely manage the full range of financial and accounting activities and ensure full compliance of tax and accounting documentation of the Company to Russian legislation.
The responsibilities of Chief Accountant include but are not limited to the following blocks:
Documentation:
- To make sure that all tax and accounting documents are timely prepared, correct, in place, signed and in compliance with Russian legislation and local procedures;
- To systemize document flow;
- To monitor timely receipt of primary accounting documentation, to interact directly with counterparties regarding the documents,
- To include the documentation timely into the tax and accounting registers.
Reporting:
- Timely preparation and submission of all types of tax reports and audit checks (income, VAT, statistics, social insurance funds, pension funds, MVD etc.).
- Prepare documentation and consolidate information for annual closure;
- To participate directly in the formation of financial results according the results of reporting (tax) periods, to form tax registers.
Tax and Accounting functions:
- Manage and control the accounting, finance and tax functions of the Company, taking into account the requirements of legislation;
- Full range of accounting activities including: fixed assets accounting, accounting of income and expenses of LLC, accounting of material and production stocks, manage the capital cost and maintenance of the purchase book of the Company, etc.;
- Payroll accounting, including calculation of vacation payment, sick leave certificate payment, business trip periods and other payments to employees.
Interfacing with Octapharma Group:
- Prepare the reports on financial information to the Octapharma Group according to corporate requirements;
- Ensure compliance of local financial and internal control procedures of the Company to corporate requirements of Octapharma Group.
Interfacing with service providers and Authorities:
- To interface with external service providers for all accounting, tax, reporting, and audit issues of the Company.
- Communicate with representatives of tax authorities, Pension Fund of RF, Social Security Fund of RF and prepare information and documents on request of specified Authorities. To represent the Company during desk audits in Tax Authorities.
- Communicate with representatives of audit company, to provide necessary documents for audit.
Miscellaneous:
- To analyze the risks and opportunities of the Company on a daily basis;
- To arrange payments to suppliers and creditors, employees, etc;
- To prepare reference letters for employees of the Company;
- Prepare and coordinate with General Director the documents concerning internal procedures and policies.
What we expect?
- Completed University degree in finance, audit or extensive experience in the field of Accounting;
- At least 5 years of working experience as a Chief Accountant or Finance Director;
- Excellent knowledge of Russian legislation, accounting procedures (according Russian and international standards), accounting documentation etc.;
- Advanced user of 1C, ZUP and SAP;
- Advanced user of Microsoft office programs;
- Excellent communication skills both in Russian and English;
- Readiness and willingness to travel;
- Experience in accounting in Pharma industry is a major plus.
