With our all-in-one solution, we can help meet the specific needs of every business and allowing them to accept over 140 local payment methods for more than 200 countries. The company employs professionals of 22 different nationalities in 15 offices, namely San Francisco, Phoenix, Berlin, Kiev, Mykolaiv, Lisbon, Moscow, Sofia, Bangalore, Gurgaon, Novosibirsk, Seoul, Manila, Beijing and Hanoi.
In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to work on many exciting legal issues to assist Paymentwall with its global expansion and product development. We are looking for a passionate and professional team player who will be able to work with different cultures from all over the world and learn how to work in a wide range of practice areas
What you'll do:
- Review, draft, and manage service agreements and other contracts to protect the interests of Paymentwall.
- Respond promptly to requests from the business development, operations, finance, marketing, and other Paymentwall departments.
- Summarize and communicate risks, legal concepts, company policies, and procedures in a way that business people can use.
- Collaborate with the business development, marketing, finance and support departments to understand team goals and determine legal needs.
- Support the continuous improvement of standard agreements and legal processes.
- Communicate effectively in a fast paced, multi-cultural environment.
- Monitor regulations and new legal requirements.
- The Legal Counsel will also perform project management tasks and collaborate with other team members to implement project activities.

What you need to have:

Masters Degree in Law from an accredited university or an equivalent degree from a Western university;
-
At least 2 years professional experience in international company/environment;

Excellent knowledge of Business, Contract, IP, Tax and Corporate Law (banking law and the law relating to non-bank credit organizations is a plus);
- Experience advising clients in structuring complex commercial transactions.
- Experience drafting and negotiating services agreements, licenses and intellectual property agreements.
- Knowledge and appreciation of relevant payment and financial legal issues.
- Superior English communication skills, both verbally and in writing.

Advanced command of Russian and English (reading, writing and speaking).
