Our client – International Oil & Gas Company is looking for CEO / General Director.
Role: lead oil & gas field development projects, ensure effective integration of all related parties: shareholders, operating company, technical teams, contractors & government bodies.
Location: Uralsk, Kazakhstan.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver the necessary strategies, then ensure responsible parties have adequate execution and resource plans in place to deliver the project at all project stages;
- Prepare, update and control integrated cost and budget at all project stages and in case of deviations, identify risks and develop mitigation plans and then proactively implement corrective actions;
- Develop the technical and engineering strategies, then coordinate its delivery;
- Manage the Performance of key contractors’ schedule, budget and scope of works;
- Prepare and coordinate the Technical, Financial, Legal Committees with partners;
- Provide support in the application of production optimisation initiatives;
- Ensures that activities and inputs are aligned with Company's approved standards and procedures;
- Lead initiatives to identify, evaluate and propose innovative, cost saving technology;
- To contribute to the development of project specifications and requirements taking into account discipline interfaces and the contributions of other disciplines;
- Lead the initiatives to analyse facilities and operations data to build fit for purpose, accurate and robust cost estimations to enable technical and acquisition decisions to be made;
- Initiate and manage detailed fast track cost estimations and where necessary ensure they align to best known benchmarks for the applicable business area;
- Continuously and effectively explain complex development and operational matters and uncertainties to business professionals, project managers and senior executives;
- Develop others through mentoring and competence programmes.
Requirements:
- University degree in an Engineering focused function;
- Experience in managing brownfield & greenfield projects through entire project lifecycle;
- Having worked for International companies, preferably abroad;
- Minimum 15 years total working experience in Upstream and /or OFS preferably in CIS but also with international exposure total working experience;
- Minimum 6 years engineering discipline expereince;
- Minimum 10 years project management expereince or which minimum 3 years must be at Senior Project Manager level;
- International experience, both with greenfield & brownfield development projects;
- Fluency in Kazakh and English;
