Job description:

• Chief accountant in Customer center in Russia is responsible for organizing an efficient work of finance department with the team of 20 people, meeting the business needs.
• Chief accountant is in charge with:
• Organization of efficient work of the team in order to meet business needs of AC Russia customer center (500 people in a Customer center) and in full compliance to local regulations and The Way We Do Things
• Managing day-to-day activities within the department, working with team leaders in order to reach operational excellence
• Developing people to maintain stability and ensure up-to-date competences for all areas in accounting, sufficient for current needs and future growth of the company
• Tax planning and optimization
• Timely and accurate reporting to authorities (Tax office, Funds, Statistics)
• Maintain interactions with tax authorities on behalf of AC Russia
• Lead hosting the external and internal audits
• Preparation and execution of budget for finance department
• Communicating regularly with all stakeholders to have transparency in all activities and pending issues to prevent risks and to propose ways to eliminate or minimize impact of the risks
• Providing professional advice to business and other functions on accounting and tax issues and communicate proposed solution in clear and understandable way for non-finance people
• Initiating or updating internal policies related to the accounting
• Leading and implementing efficiency projects in the accounting department

Experience requirements:

• Working experience in accounting not less than 10 years
• Practical experience as Chief Accountant in a large international company that works according to international accounting standards not less than 5 years
• Experience in managing people
• Experience in preparing accounting and tax reporting and handling tax and other audits
• Advanced with ERP systems (knowledge of SAP/SAP BW is a benefit). Experience in working with IT consultants (formulating tasks and evaluate execution).

Knowledge:

• Good knowledge of legislation related to accounting, taxation and related subjects.
• Fluency in English (working level for oral and written communications) and Russian
• Experienced user of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
• Knowledge of local accounting and ERP systems
• Experience with SAP will be advantage
• Expert knowledge in accounting and tax accounting

Educational requirements:

• University degree in economics/finance
