We are looking for a reliable and responsible employee to fill the position of Trading Operator (Energy Resources) for our client.

We are seeking an Operator with a strong background in operational roles - ideally including inspection, surveying or agency work - to ensure smooth and efficient trading operations.

Company Overview: They are a fast-growing shipping organization, with headquarters in Dubai and offices in Europe and Asia. They specialize in the international maritime transportation of crude oil and various petroleum products

Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day trading operations, with a primary focus on supply chain and logistics for crude oil and other energy resources.
• Coordinate with surveyors, inspectors and agency partners to ensure smooth execution of shipments under DAP/DES/DDU/DDP and FOB terms.
• Manage the entire operational workflow, from vessel scheduling and documentation to final delivery.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external counterparts to address any operational, technical or regulatory challenges.
• Monitor and optimize supply chain processes, ensuring cost efficiency and compliance with maritime regulations.
• Provide transaction support, including tracking shipment milestones, resolving disputes and maintaining accurate records.

Professional Knowledge and Competencies:

• Higher education (preferably in finance or law).
• Experience with complex shipping documents and procedures, along with knowledge of international maritime regulations, is highly valued.
• Proven track record in operations or supply chain management within the energy resources or maritime shipping sector.
• Strong analytical skills to manage logistical and regulatory complexities.
• Familiarity with the LPG and petroleum products market is desirable.
• Proficiency in using trading or shipping management platforms.
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written (intermediate level or higher).
