Our client is one of the largest mining and metallurgical companies in Russia.

Head of the Department of Contract and Legal Support of Investment Projects (industrial construction)

Location: Moscow.

Responsibilities:

• Management of a team of legal advisers-contract managers (project lawyers) who support the construction and investment projects of the group of Companies.
• Participation in the formation of a contractual strategy, legal positions, and negotiating positions on complex investment project issues.
• Development and implementation of methodology for legal and contractual support of investment projects.
• Preparation of contracts (design and survey work, construction and installation work, supply of complex technological equipment, including with non-residents, etc.).
• Participation in negotiations.
• Conducting claims and judicial work.

Requirements:

• Higher legal education in Law.
• English - working proficiency.
• 5+ years of work experience in the field of contract and legal support of industrial construction facilities.
• Managerial experience.
• Experience in concluding and executing contracts for the supply of complex technological equipment (including foreign economic activity), contracts for the design and construction of industrial facilities.
• Experience in claims and judicial work.
• Strong knowledge of civil, urban planning, and land law.
