Kartsev primary school is looking for a Primary/Elementary School teacher for our 2-4 grade schoolers. This is part time work - 2 lessons a day, usually 5 days a week. Lessons start at 12:00 and finish at 13:40, break 10 min.
We are looking a teacher who: - has the ability to captivate children with interesting lessons; - he is able to maintain discipline in the classroom without resorting to pressure on children; - capable of empathy to children.Duties & Responsibilities
Teaching English by communicate approach through games and involving activities
- Planning and implementing age-appropriate activities and lessons that meet each child’s needs and interests. Develop and implement lesson plans that are developmentally appropriate for the children in the class
- Observe and assess each child’s progress, keeping accurate and up-to-date records
- Help children develop self-control and emotional regulation skills
- Maintaining a safe environment for children by enforcing safety regulations and procedures
- Encourage creativity and independent thinking through exploration and play
- Model positive behavior and social interactions for the children
- Work collaboratively with other teachers and staff to ensure a smooth running classroom and program
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians about their child’s development and daily activities
- Maintain a clean, safe, and inviting classroom environment
- Participate in professional development opportunities to keep abreast of new trends and best practices in early childhood education
- Perform other duties as assigned by the director
Required Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in school education or related field
- 2+ years experience teaching in a school setting
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills
- Creative approach to lesson planning and classroom management
- Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude
Conditions
- Salary is negotiable for a day (1 day = 2 lessons)
- Work schedule: Monday through Friday, 12:10 - 13:40 (incl. 10 minutes of break between 2 lessons)
- The school is in near by Krasnopresnenskaya (14 minutes by foot), Smolenskaya (11 minutes by foot)
