USPIO Ltd is a technology company specializing in the creation of innovative solutions in the field of IT and software development. We are proud of our creative approach to web development and implement projects of various scales: from small landing pages to large interactive sites with rich animation. We are looking for a WordPress developer who will become part of our team. The ideal candidate will work on a variety of projects, ensuring a high standard of quality and productivity.
Responsibilities:
- Development and support of WordPress sites, including the creation of custom themes and plugins with an emphasis on high performance.
- Collaborate with design and frontend development teams to introduce new features and improve existing ones.
- Ensuring code quality through testing, review and compliance with best practices.
- Website optimization for high speed, scalability and SEO.
- Diagnostics and elimination of bugs, performance problems and other technical difficulties.
- Constant monitoring of the latest trends in WordPress and the IT industry, offering new tools and technologies to improve workflows.
- Experience working with PHP, including creating custom solutions for WordPress.
- At least 3 years of experience in developing and maintaining WordPress sites.
- Deep knowledge of the WordPress core, custom themes, plugins and WordPress REST API.
- Basic knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and Bootstrap.
- Experience working with MySQL and database management.
- Knowledge of version control systems (Git), the ability to work with branching, merging and Pull Request.
- Knowledge of modern security principles and best practices for protecting WordPress sites.
It will be a plus:
- Experience working with PHP frameworks (Laravel, Symfony).
- Understanding the architectural approaches of MVC and MVCS.
- Knowledge of KISS, DRY, SOLID principles to maintain readable and modular code.
