UFG Wealth Management – a well-established international multifamily office is looking to hire a qualified Lawyer.
As a family office Lawyer, you will be responsible for providing legal advice and guidance to high-net-worth families. You will typically work closely with clients to understand their unique needs and goals and develop customized legal strategies to help them achieve their objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Design and set-up of private ownership structures for HNWIs in various jurisdictions;
- Elaboration of strategies for succession planning of business and private assets, family and corporate governance;
- Legal advice on private M&A deals, corporate law, restructurings;
- Legal advice on matters of private international law, including family and inheritance law;
- Legal risk management: identifying potential legal risks and developing strategies to mitigate them;
- Advice on currency control regulations, compliance and other areas of law;
- Keeping up-to-date on relevant legal developments and trends in order to provide the best possible solutions to clients;
- Participation in marketing activities (internal and external events, webinars etc.).
Requirements:
- 6+ year PQE minimum relevant legal experience (after obtaining higher education);
- Experience in one of the leading Russian or international consulting firms and/or “single/multi family office” will be an advantage;
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, coordinate junior colleagues, providers and other lines of services and to prioritize workflow while adhering to strict deadlines and excellent work and accuracy;
- Excellent command of English (both oral and written);
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- Flexible, adaptable and responsive character;
- Good presentation skills with a strong commercial and legal mindset to be able to advise clients on various issues and conclusions;
- Stress-resistant;
- Problem solver, reliable person, willing to learn fast;
- Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
