Ostrovok is a travel-tech company that creates platforms for online booking of hotels, air tickets, and other services for both individual travelers and corporate clients and travel agencies. Our brands: Ostrovok, B2B.Ostrovok, Ostrovok Komandirovki. We develop projects both in Russia and abroad.

As a Director of Business Finance you will drive financial strategy and oversee financial operations within our company.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee Financial Planning and Analysis division, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, analysis, and forecasting.

• Implement systems and processes to enhance the efficiency and quality of key deliverables.

• Continuously enhance financial models and data structures to align with evolving organizational needs.

• Collaborate with business unit leaders to develop annual budgets and strategic financial goals.

• Provide regular and ad-hoc reports and recommendations to senior management based on financial analysis.

• Lead cross-functional projects with finance and legal components.

• Manage project execution, including subsidiary setup and process implementation.

• Collaborate with teams to ensure projects meet strategic goals and regulatory requirements.

• Mitigate financial and legal risks associated with project execution.

• Manage internal reports and external presentations on projects.

• Supervise Finance Business Partners supporting business unit management.

• Foster strong relationships with business unit leaders to understand financial requirements.

• Guide Finance Business Partners in analyzing financial data and suggesting actions.

• Oversee business unit budgets and ensure compliance with company policies.
  
  What You’ll Need:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

• Minimum 8 years of finance experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.

• Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and modeling.

• Experience in developing detailed budget models and enhancing existing budgeting processes.

• Proven track record of managing cross-functional projects and coordinating finance and legal support.

• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders.

• Strategic thinker capable of analyzing complex financial issues and providing actionable recommendations.

• Knowledge of international finance and legal regulations, especially in setting up subsidiaries, is desirable.

• Ability to communicate complex issues effectively in simple, impactful mediums such as CEO briefs or memos.
