We are looking for: Technical Engineering Advisor who will strengthen our Operations team. The role requires extensive practical experience as a CNC Technologist. Projects are mainly international, therefore knowledge of written technical and, to a sufficient extent, business English is a must. You must be competent to read ISO standardized drawings in English and communicate directly in writing with the customer to clarify unclear technical requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Analyzing incoming drawings / CAD models in English
- Determination of the main necessary technologies required for production
- Providing process recommendations (if necessary)
- Communication in English with internal cross functional team to gather technical information, sufficient for production price calculation
- Communication in English with external suppliers in order to support technical discussion about a part manufacturability
A successful candidate:
- Higher engineering education - metal processing engineer, design engineer or similar
- Experience in the role of engineer from 5 years. Preferably in the field of metalworking / mechanical engineering
- Expert knowledge of various metalworking methods: turning, milling, CNC machining, electrical discharge machining, sheet metal working - laser, waterjet, plasma cutting, welding
- Knowledge of various metal post-processes: polishing, hardening, heat treatment, anodizing, sanding/blasting, coatings, painting, etc.
- Knowledge of various structural materials and their machining properties: metals, plastics, composites
- Speaks and conducts business correspondence (at level of С1 or higher) in English
- English proficiency (technical literature, reading of blueprints, written communication)
- IT-enthusiast, ready to master and use modern technologies and software
- Willingness and desire to work in a fast-growing business atmosphere, willingness to change
