BCS Venture is a new venture from the leading brokerage firm in the country. We invest and empower BCS clients to invest in mid and late-stage VC-backed companies. Our team has successfully closed over 10 deals with leading unicorn companies, deploying more than $100M. As we expand, we are looking for 2-3 new team members to support our senior professionals.
Joining us means immersing yourself in the world of venture and private equity investments in international markets, collaborating with the world's leading venture capital funds.
Responsibilities:
- Provide analytical coverage of mid and late-stage VCs, including market analysis, investment memorandum, and valuation on exit;
- Assist in preparing analytical materials for BCS internal committees (investment & risk committee) and create presentation materials for client sales;
- Contribute to the formation of the pipeline;
- Participate in the structuring and preparation of deals;
- Assist in drafting agreements, documentation, timelines, business process diagrams, etc.
- Students in their 3rd or 4th year of universities or graduates in economics or finance from leading Russian universities (HSE ICEF is an advantage) or foreign universities;
- More than 6 months of work experience is an advantage;
- Experience in IB, VC/PE is an advantage;
- Fluent in English, as most deals are international;
- Knowledge of the due diligence process of companies;
- Analytical skills, effective communication, and punctuality;
- Deep understanding of finance, with the ability to quickly and comprehensively analyze companies based on limited data;
- Understanding the structure of the venture capital market, drivers of the valuation of Unicorn companies, and the main trends in the late-stage VCs market;
- Business process modeling skills is an advantage.
