We are looking for a Social Media Specialist / Content Editor for New Media Covering Economics, Investments, and Culture in MENA
Responsibilities:
- Your main gig? Crafting and honing content destined for an array of social media platforms, including those restricted in Russia, TikTok, Twitter, Telegram, and Reddit, in Russian, English, and Arabic languages. And we're talking about content delivered in Russian, English, and Arabic. Here's the lowdown on what you'll be up to: Picture this - you'll be handed a freshly baked news piece from the author in one language, and your job? Translating it back and forth (Russian to English, English to Russian), jazzing it up with a splash of text and images, whipping up snappy videos (reels), uploading them using an AI speaker, adding locations and hashtags, and tagging people and brands.
- When it comes to evaluating the effectiveness of our efforts, you'll be our go-to guru.
- Constantly tweaking tactics and running tests using data and analytics will be all in a day's work.
- Uploading AI speaker.
Requirements:
- Experience working with large volumes of information, understanding of algorithms (roughly, understandable of course).
- Posting on social media platforms, including those not supported in Russia, i.e., ability to work with these restrictions.
- Experience with generative artificial intelligence.
- Strong writing skills.
- Ability to work with analytical systems.
- Proficiency in English sufficient for writing and editing posts.
Workload: 5 to 10 news pieces are released per day.
Note:
Candidates will be invited to complete a short test assignment after submitting their resume.
