Our client is a well-known Retail company is looking for a IT Director/Head of IT:
Main accountabilities and responsibilities:
- Ensure proper daily functioning and in-time preparation and implementation of IT components for retail stores launch;
- Ensure proper structure and staffing of the local IT organisation. Develop staff, ensure high quality of staff. Cooperate with other Local IT managers and Group functions to achieve synergies;
- Ensure proper IT resource allocation, dependent on business demands;
- Actively participate in business management meetings in order to identify IT opportunities and to drive IT aspects of ongoing and potential projects proactively;
- Pursue that local IT demands are fulfilled, in cooperation with and after agreement of relevant central IT functions. Defend local demands based on appropriate business case;
- Manage IT projects for Russia&CIS, and manage or participate centrally driven IT projects in the region;
- Prepare and manage IT budget and cost allocation to business. Perform proper cost follow up;
- Assist local business management in planning, budget preparation, management and follow up of all cost within the IT area; assist business in minimizing this cost;
- Provide follow up of projects, service levels and cost to local management and Group IT Services;
- Manage IT suppliers;
- Ensure proper software licensing; ensure that IT organisation as well as business adheres the Information Security standards;
- Drive harmonization of systems and infrastructure, in order to minimize complexity and cost.
Requirements:
- Strong End User Support orientation;
- Upper-Intermediate in English;
- Willing and able to travel extensively within Russia & abroad;
- Good understanding of, and supporter of, process management;
- Broad, general knowledge of the IT architecture and application portfolio as employed by the supported business divisions;
- Understanding of the full IT Business Service portfolio;
- Skills required for Vendor Management;
- Business management orientation;
- Strong people manager, empowering, coaching. Team worker;
- Good communicator at all levels of the organization, convincing.
