Finance Controller and Chief Accountant
Position reports to the Finance Director
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate reporting processes in line with the financial policies (on a monthly and annual basis);
- Oversee the work of record keeping in accordance with the Russian accounting rules;
- Ensure the complete reflection of accounting transactions in due time;
- Participate in the preparation of internal accounts at month-end in accordance with reporting rules in due time and in accordance with the company policy;
- Ensure the safety of accounting records;
- Participate in the annual audit;
- Manage the accounting department;
- Participate in developing and updating of internal policies and procedures;
- Manage the employees and provide to them oversight and direction with the internal rules and regulations;
- Select, motivate and develop assigned employees;
- Responsible for training, development and ongoing coaching where appropriate to employees.
Requirements:
- Higher Economic/ Finance education;
- At least 3 years of experience as Deputy Chief Accountant or Chief Accountant;
- People management experience is a must,
- Sap and 1C knowledge is a must;
- Fluent English is a must;
- Confident PC user with strong MS Office skills;
- Strong analytical skills, inter-personal skills and teamwork;
- Good discipline, ability to handle stress and meet tight deadlines;
- Strong focus on results;
- Strong Leadership competencies and supervisory skills.
