Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Frontend Architect to join our dynamic team. As a Frontend Architect, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of our frontend applications, ensuring they are scalable, efficient, and user-friendly. You will collaborate closely with our product/project managers, designers, and smart contract developers to create exceptional user experiences that align with our business objectives and technical requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the architecture and technical design of our frontend applications, ensuring they are robust, scalable, and maintainable.
- Collaborate with product managers and UX designers to translate business requirements and user stories into technical specifications and high-quality frontend solutions.
- Define best practices and coding standards for frontend development, and ensure adherence to them across the team.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to frontend developers to maintain code quality and consistency.
- Stay updated on the latest frontend technologies, trends, and best practices, and make recommendations for their adoption within the team.
- Mentor and coach frontend developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- React, NextJS, Tailwind, ethers.js, web3.js, git – expert knowledge.
- MongoDB, NestJS, sequelize, SQL – experience interacting with.
- 2 full years of experience working on web3/crypto projects as a Lead/Architect.
- English at C1-C2.
- At least 3 years in a lead or architect role.
- Basic knowledge of Solidity.
- Strong understanding of web performance optimisation techniques and best practices.
- Experience with frontend build tools and package managers (e.g., Webpack, Babel, npm).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a distributed team environment.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with non-EVM chains such as Solana
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
