Private Family is looking for a live-in fluent English-speaking travelling governess to homeschool 7-year-old child by British curriculum. The family travels (Europe, Latin America, Asia, UAE), so the governess will accompany the family around the world.
We are seeking an experienced, dedicated, and professional Governess/private tutor for a family. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a high-quality, personalised education to the family's children, ensuring their academic success, and overall development. The governess/tutor will be required to work closely with the family to tailor educational programs to meet the children's unique needs, interests, and learning styles.
Responsibilities:

Develop and implement a comprehensive, personalised curriculum for the children, covering core subjects such as English, Mathematics, Science, Art, and any additional subjects as required.

Provide one-on-one instruction, ensuring the children's academic progress and mastery of key concepts and skills.

Create a stimulating, engaging, and nurturing learning environment, incorporating a variety of teaching methods, materials, and technologies.

Prepare the children for standardised tests, entrance exams, and interviews, as applicable.

Communicate regularly with the family, providing updates on the children's progress, addressing any concerns, and suggesting strategies for supporting their learning outside of tutoring sessions.

Collaborate with the family to plan and facilitate extracurricular activities, including sports, music, art, and cultural experiences, to enrich the children's education and promote their overall development.

Accompany the family on travel, as needed, ensuring continuity of the children's education and providing support during trips and vacations.

Maintain a high level of discretion, professionalism, and confidentiality when dealing with the family's personal matters
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or higher in Education or a relevant subject area; advanced degrees or teaching certifications are a plus.

Has experience in primary classroom teaching and tutoring.

Driving license - must.

A European residence permit or a long-term Schengen visa or passport that allows you to freely stay in the territory of the European Union - must.

Spanish language proficiency would be an advantage.

Knowledge of the education systems and differences, entrance exams.

Demonstrated ability to design and implement personalised curricula and learning plans.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and trust with both children and parents.

Adaptability, flexibility, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Cultural sensitivity and an understanding of the family's values and traditions.

First Aid and CPR certification, or a willingness to obtain these certifications.

Willingness to undergo a thorough background check.
