How you are going to make an impact:
- Build and maintain scalable data solutions and pipelines in cloud infrastructure.
- Analyze, organize and integrate raw data from diverse sources.
- Prepare and refine data to support predictive modelling, ensuring accuracy and relevance for data-driven decisions.
- Collaborate with data scientists and BI engineers on cross-functional projects;
- Proactively identify and implement opportunities for system improvements, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness.
Discover your Fit:
- Proven experience as a data engineer or in a similar role.
- Deep SQL expertise with a focus on complex queries, database optimisations and data warehousing.
- Knowledge of data modelling approaches focused on analytical workloads handling data on a big scale.
- Experience building and maintaining data warehouses using cloud / MPP solutions (Snowflake, Vertica, Redshift, BigQuery, Greenplum, etc).
- Solid experience using Python for data manipulation, pipeline development and backend systems.
- Hands-on experience with ETL / orchestration tools (Apache Airflow, Dagster, Prefect, Pentaho DI, etc).
- Background in working with Cloud infrastructure providers (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- ?Willingness to relocate to Cyprus after a trial period.?
