Voice Artist - French Speaker

Our team has brought and published audiobooks by such authors as Robert Kiyosaki, Tony Robbins, Brian Tracy, and Mark Manson in Germany, France, Italy, Turkey, and Japan.

We are currently seeking a talented and highly skilled Voice Artist with a high level of proficiency in the French language to join our team. As a Voice Artist at ABP Publishing, you will play a vital role in bringing our written content to life through engaging and captivating vocal performances.
Responsibilities:
- Voice Acting: Utilize your exceptional vocal talents to deliver high-quality French-language voice-over performances for a variety of audio projects, including audiobooks, podcasts, radio spots, commercials, and other promotional materials.
- Script Interpretation: Read and analyze scripts, texts, and other written material to understand the tone, mood, and intent of the content, ensuring accurate and appropriate delivery of the French-language performance.
- Vocal Characterization: Create distinct and authentic character voices for audiobook characters, animated characters, and other vocal personas, employing vocal range, accents, and speech patterns to bring characters to life.
- Recording and Editing: Record voice-over performances in a professional studio environment or home setup, using industry-standard recording equipment and software. Edit and master recordings to meet technical and quality standards, remove breaths and hiss, correct slips, add music, and do mix & broadcast-ready mastering.
- Collaboration: Work closely with audio engineers, directors, and other team members to ensure seamless integration of voice performances with sound effects, music, and other audio elements.
- Feedback and Improvement: Receive and incorporate feedback from clients, directors, and other stakeholders to refine vocal performances, ensuring continuous improvement and delivering the desired artistic vision.
- Time Management: Meet project deadlines and manage multiple assignments simultaneously, demonstrating excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
MUST have:
- Native or near-native level proficiency in the French language, with exceptional pronunciation, intonation, and articulation skills.
- Proven experience as a Voice Artist, preferably in the audiobook industry or related fields. A strong demo reel or portfolio showcasing a range of voice-over performances is highly desirable.
- Outstanding vocal range, versatility, and the ability to create distinct character voices. Experience in narration, storytelling, and dialogue delivery is essential.
- Ability to adapt written material into spoken French, ensuring accurate translations and cultural relevance.
- Strong knowledge of professional recording equipment, software (e.g., Pro Tools, Adobe Audition), and editing techniques. Experience in audio editing, noise reduction, and audio file formatting is advantageous.
- Professionalism: Excellent communication skills, reliability, and a strong work ethic. Flexibility to work remotely or in-studio as per project requirements.
- Passion for Audiobooks and Audio Content: A genuine interest in the audiobook industry, storytelling, and the power of voice to engage and captivate listeners.
- Strong artistic sense and the ability to take direction, work collaboratively in a team environment, and incorporate feedback to deliver outstanding voice performances.
