A well-known international fashion company is looking for a Marketplace Operation Manager to join its team. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Marketplace Operation Manager to join our team and take ownership of managing end-to-end logistics operations within the marketplace, ensuring efficient movement of goods and services while meeting quality and delivery standards.
Role:
Operational process:
- Control of operations product movement to marketplace from Warehouse
- Collaboration with transport, local Warehouse team, call center
- Control Warehouse performance, KPI, SLA
- Product Care process
- Preparation forecast for marketplace
Inventory Management:
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, implementing effective stock control measures to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
Order Fulfillment:
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure accurate and timely order processing, fulfillment, and delivery to customers.
Quality Assurance:
- Maintain quality standards by conducting regular audits, inspections, and performance evaluations of logistics partners and processes.
Cost Control:
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and negotiate favorable terms with logistics partners, carriers, and vendors to achieve cost-effective transportation and warehousing solutions.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in logistics operations within the marketplace, ensuring efficient movement of goods and services while meeting quality and delivery standards.
- You have experience in B2B platforms, Ecommerce, and/or Marketplace products
- Entrepreneurial spirit (you're self-driven and you don't need direction), an affinity for the fast-paced, fast changing environment of a start-up and get-it-done personality.
- Experience leading logistics operations initiatives from start to finish - ideation through execution through usage tracking.
- Data-Driven Approach: Proficiency in using data to inform logistics operations decisions and measure success.
- Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic mindset with the ability to translate high-level goals into actionable plans and deliverables.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
