Duties & Responsibilities

Teaching English by communicate approach through games and involving activities
Planning and implementing age-appropriate activities and lessons that meet each child’s needs and interests. Develop and implement lesson plans that are developmentally appropriate for the children in the class
Observe and assess each child’s progress, keeping accurate and up-to-date records
Help children develop self-control and emotional regulation skills
Maintaining a safe environment for children by enforcing safety regulations and procedures
Encourage creativity and independent thinking through exploration and play
Model positive behavior and social interactions for the children
Work collaboratively with other teachers and staff to ensure a smooth running classroom and program
Communicate effectively with parents/guardians about their child’s development and daily activities
Maintain a clean, safe, and inviting classroom environment
Participate in professional development opportunities to keep abreast of new trends and best practices in early childhood education
Perform other duties as assigned by the director

Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, child development, or related field
2+ years experience teaching in a nursery school setting
Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills
Creative approach to lesson planning and classroom management
Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude
