As an international family business in the plasma industry, we are proud of this: our products can save lives. We have strong European roots and are growing continuously. Therefore, we are looking for a Head of HSE Department, who will be responsible as part of the team for a global construction project in Russia.
Please pay attention that the сandidate will have frequent business trips (up to 70%) to Skopin (Ryazan region) and Europe first working year (depends on project schedule) and later will relocate to Skopin, Ryazan Oblast to oversee the implementation of the project there and help in operation of the facility.
Head of HSE Department will be responsible for:
- implementation of management system in the Company and maintain it at a high level, based on Russian laws, the Company’s policies and procedures;
- acting as an HSE expert as pertains to the Company operations;
- monitoring the implementation of HSE programs approved by the Company. Through training, audits and propaganda, raise employees’ awareness of HSE and improve the HSE culture in the company;
- efficient interaction with state regulatory authorities, monitoring compliance with HSE laws of the Russian;
- compliance with HSE laws of the Russian Federation and the Company’s procedures;
- monitoring the Company’s compliance with the legislative and other HSE regulations, the implementation of the Company’s HSE policies and procedures;
- participation in inspections, testing and surveys of the technical condition of equipment, engineering systems and utilities, as well as check working conditions at workplaces;
- in time informing of employees regarding the state of working conditions and occupational safety at workplaces, existing occupational risks, compensation due to employees for hard work, work in harmful and (or) hazardous working conditions and other special working conditions, personal protective equipment, as well as measures taken to protect employees from exposure to hazardous and harmful production factors;
- monitoring of compliance with HSE regulations in new reconstruction or construction projects of the organization, new technological processes, during the installation of equipment, as well as compliance with the terms for testing and checking the correctness of operation of hazardous equipment (such as pressure devices, gas-consuming equipment, hoisting equipment, ventilation systems, etc.), compliance with the instructions of state surveillance authorities, interdepartmental and departmental control over compliance with the applicable HSE policies and standards in the production process.
What do we expect?
- higher education in HSE;
- at least 5 years of working experience in pharmaceutical/medical production as a HSE Head / Manager;
- knowledge of HSE standards, labor laws, industrial hygiene and fire safety requirements;
- upper-intermediate or higher level of English language knowledge;
- experience in project management and related education is desirable;
- confident user of MS office, outlook;
- ability to work independently and as a team player;
- attention to detail and multitasking skills;
- high involvement and accuracy;
- ability to travel and relocate;
- good communication skills.
