Tax attorney
Important: the title and salary will be commensurate with the level of relevant experience.

Position Summary
Ex-international Consulting Firm is seeking an attorney with tax experience to work on a range of matters including: advising on tax aspects of corporate restructurings, tax advising on all types of deals, including deals for sale and purchase of a business, tax due diligence, advising on accounting in accordance with Russian accounting standards, tax structuring in connection with financing joint ventures in Russia, cross border transactions (including inbound and outbound investments), advising international groups (VAT, profit tax including tax accounting issues, payroll taxes, regional and local taxes and the application of double tax treaties).
Qualifications
• Higher Education from a nationally recognized law school with excellent academic credentials in law school and in undergraduate studies, government agency and/or other in-house experience a plus;
• Three plus years of practice experience at law ?rm, government agency and/or in-house experience in advising and counseling clients.
• Ability to analyze complex situations and react appropriately;
• Ability to exercise sound judgment after researching and interpreting relevant facts;
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines;
• Ability to supervise outside counsel in a cost-e?ective manner;
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and to handle multiple high priority tasks simultaneously
• Excellent drafting skills;
• Con?dence and judgment necessary to act pragmatically;
• High level of intellectual curiosity;
• Ability and desire to function collaboratively;
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate easily with colleagues and internal clients.
