Baimskaya Copper Project is looking for potential candidates for the position of Buyer within Procurement Department in Moscow

Structural division: Procurement Department

Reports to: Senior Buyer

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Business Administration / Commerce / Accounting or similar stream.
• At least 4 – 5 years of experience in a similar position as Buyer or Procurement Specialist preferably all in Mining / Heavy Industry or Construction Projects
• General knowledge of projects, mining, or experience working in a mine (quarry);
• Knowledge of the database of Russian suppliers and contacts;
• Basic knowledge of Major Suppliers (International & Regional) of materials & engineering equipment used for mining projects / processing plants / heavy industries
• Knowledge of the region through experience working with other cultures and people;
• Compliance with high ethical and professional standards of conduct in all aspects of business;

• Knowledge of Prism or similar ERP is preferred but not mandatory.

  Advanced knowledge of office MS-programs (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access), preferably knowledge of Knowledge of Prism or similar ERP is preferred but not mandatory.

• RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Sources and procures goods through acceptable procurement practices in a timely manner from the open market;
• Gathering information about possible goods suppliers and service providers;
• Carrying out market researches on the goods suppliers and service providers on the market;
• Conducting comparative analysis of the bids;
• Organization of technical evaluation of the bids;
• Organization of commercial evaluation of the bids;
• Reviews and negotiates procurement/contractual terms and conditions for completeness and accuracy and achieves the best value;
• Maintains appropriate records and files;
• Updates tracking logs and registers within the department;
• Maintains constant liaison with other departments to determine requirements and obtain specifications on goods to be procured;
• Applying Procurement performance metrics in support of the overall Procurement strategy;
• Evaluates continuous improvement opportunities;
• Ensures compliance with internal and external policies and regulations, and with ABC policies???????CONDITIONS:

• Employment specifications: Direct contract;

• Work schedule: Monday-Friday: from 9 am till 6 pm
