Main Responsibilities:
Execute the internal audit process for Mondel?z International – under the direction of the Internal Audit Manager.
- Assess whether systems of internal controls, processes and procedures are adequate to manageе risks, provide accurate financial reports and to safeguard corporate assets.
- Check that Mondel?z International corporate and regional policies are being adequately followed.
- Follow audit procedures to adequately assess all significant business and operational risks.
- Complete audit work in accordance with IIA standards and MDLZ Internal Audit standards.
- Effectively communicated audit results to senior management, and external auditors.
- Articulate understanding of business areas under review and demonstrates solid rationale for potential audit issues.
- Work under own initiative and update Audit Manager on audit progress and potential issues in a timely manner.
- Develop an open and honest working relationship with other audit team members and those being audited and maintain a professional approach at all times.
- Share best practices with other team members, and contribute to departmental projects.
- The qualified candidate must be able to work with multiple organizations and teams, consistently meet deadlines and work well under time constraints and be able to quickly learn and understands diverse business areas/systems.
Main Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree;
- Min 10 years of business experience; some years of audit related experience within a Big-4 accounting firm and/or large corporation’s internal audit department preferred.
- Knowledge of processes and risk/control frameworks;
- Sarbanes-Oxley experience preferred;
- US GAAP/IFRS experience preferred;
- SAP knowledge preferred;
- FMCG/Manufacturing experience preferred;
- Goal-oriented and outgoing with strong interpersonal and teamwork skills;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills;
- Ability to think and work analytically;
- Ability to work in a diverse multi-cultural environment;
- Ability to develop strong and lasting relationships with all levels of management;
- Willingness to travel.
