Altenar is a provider of sportsbook software and services to licensed gaming operators. Ranging from ‘software-only’ product offers to the provision of a fully-managed sports betting platform stack, Altenar offers proven stability coupled with a flexible and personalized service. Our software is developed and operated in-house, whilst being powered by premium quality data feeds.
We are looking for a Team leader of PHP development team. You can work remotely from Russia, Malta or Georgia.
Stack:
PHP 7.3 (going to use PHP 8 soon), Redis, RabbitMQ, MySQL 5.7, Yii2, Kafka, Symfony, Docker, Kubernetes, Google Cloud Platform, Codeception, Psalm, Google Cloud BigQuery.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and mentor a team of 3+ members

Create new applications from scratch

Create and maintain software documentation

Conduct performance reviews
Experience/Skills:
-
4+ years of professional experience with PHP
-
2+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design of new and current systems
- Have already managed a team of 3+ OR you are a senior developer, who wants to grow in management
-
Experience and knowledge of PHP frameworks: Symphony, Laravel or Yii2
-
Deep functional knowledge or hands on design experience with Web Services (REST, SOAP, RPC)
-
Good understanding of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
-
Fluent written and spoken English (B2+)
