Responsibilities:
- Be a part of IT leadership team
- Establish and lead full development cycle of company mobile applications
- Establish a process of work with App Store, Google Play & Huawei store
- Be responsible for decision making in terms of architecture and technology solutions with existing APIs
- Be the main point of contact and advice for best practice in your area of expertise. Provide technical architectural expertise, direction, and advice to your team and others and ensure these are aligned to organizational goals, objectives and standards
- Full responsibility for mobile app speed performance
- Hire and manage mobile development team up to 30-50 engineers
- Grow team leaders and engineering managers
- Work on developers’ performance, productivity and motivation
- Set up hiring process, hiring events, meetups
Requirements:
- Previous working experience as Head of Mobile development for 3+ years
- Extensive experience (8+ years) in mobile application development, with a strong background in both iOS and Android platforms
- Experience to lead a team of 30+ people. Distributed team among different geo locations would be considered as an advantage
- Knowledge of mobile app design principles, patterns, and best practices
- Familiarity with mobile app analytics, performance monitoring, and crash reporting tools like Firebase, Google Analytics, or Crashlytics.
- Understanding of mobile app security best practices, including securing APIs and data storage.
- Experience working with RESTful APIs and backend systems
- Rich portfolio of released applications on the App store or the Android market
- Experience with Android SDK, iOS, Object-C, Swift
- Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
- Outstanding communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
