Who we are looking for and why:
As Event Manager you will be responsible for coordinating and managing all aspects of an event, ensuring they execute the production of high-quality events from conception through to completion. The overall coordinating and organizing, involves overseeing the pre-planning, operation and logistics of events such as conferences, business-launches, business-dinners, club events, workshops and webinars.
What you will need to do:
Reporting to Marketing Communications director, you will execute the following tasks:
• Conduct customer research and its needs in relevant topics and types of event format.
• Develop event calendar from concepts to execution. Determinate the speakers and visitor’s type.
• Contribute to the ongoing achievement of team targets by managing events as required by business demands.
• Manage branding, decoration of events. Produce souvenirs, print and other POSM.
• Assistance in working with speakers (presentations, tone of voice, key topics articulation, etc.)
• Carry out administrative and operational tasks associated with managing an event.
• Oversee work being conducted by contractors and reporting on variations to work orders.
• Ensure that performance indicators which are include sales conversions, budgets, cost and revenue targets, are met. Handle post-event reports.
• Interpret operating results as they affect the financial position of the department and make recommendations for business and profit improvement.
• Manage cross functional collaboration within marketing, product and sales functions related to event concept and content creation.
• Negotiating with vendors and sponsorship deals.
How to know if you're the right fit:
• At least 3 years’ experience in event marketing.
• Display a high commitment to exceptional service and display strong attention to detail.
• The ability to draw up detailed and understandable technical specifications for the performer.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Practical experience in building events (stands spaces, various structures for holding events) and working with equipment (sound, light, electricity, Internet, etc.)
• Vast knowledge in growing audiences and establishing target audiences.
• Structural approach to work, ability to find best solution, creativity.
• Ability to work with large amount of information (reporting, budgeting, registers and visitors, audience profile and programs) and systemize it in efficient action plan.
