About us:
Dzing is an FCA-regulated e-money neobanking institution which was established with a goal to deliver banking services to the customer base of retail institutions on a white label basis. At the heart of Dzing technology lies its own core banking system, a highly scalable, very sophisticated software that usually exists only with large high street banks and is very rarely found in fintech institutions. This allows us to on-board a significant number of white label projects and scale really fast, thus surpassing our competition. Dzing delivers white label projects on a revenue share basis. We test new hypotheses and product offerings with our own neobanking app that can be downloaded from AppStore and Google Play.
Dzing’s geography covers both UK and EU with offices in London, Dublin, Riga as well as Kyiv supporting the business operations and expansion.
About the role:
The candidate will be responsible for building and running innovative, new generation-driven products that empower all our developers and stakeholders to move fast and build products for our customers at scale. The ideal candidate should have e-commerce, banking, or marketplace experience to help innovate and execute product initiatives across the company. The ideal candidate is a high-energy, talented person who can manage innovation and execution. Qualified candidates have very strong organisational and business analysis skills, excellent communication skills, and a strong ability to earn trust of others.
About responsibilities:
- Business and solution requirement definition (specification, gap analysis, use cases and user journeys, test planning and execution)
- Work together with Product Owner to obtain detailed understanding of requirements, identify areas for improvement and propose solutions. Document the requirements into business requirement specifications
- Help transition the requirements into development. Consult developers during implementation to ensure requirements are developed as requested
- Work with strategic design to gain an understanding of users’ pain points and journeys
- Provide insights into product, technology and market trends
- Analysis and continuous improvement of an existing products and services
- Assist with development of feature lists, user stories and roadmaps
- Identify, study, and prioritise requirements
- Be driven by the MVP concept, distilling the product down to what is desirable, “snackable and sharable”
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to scope, design, concept test and deliver innovative solutions
- Structuring the work, breaking down tasks, simplifying product roadmaps
- Providing support to Project managers, establishing owners and timelines, and status reporting
- Assist with the development of business cases and operating plans as well as new products and business proposals.
About requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, business or a related field
- 3+ years of business analysis and testing
- Knowledge of business process management methodologies.
- Understanding of Service design principles and user journey design
- Detailed understanding of software development cycle
- Experience in working with Agile, Scrum
- Detailed understanding of daily financial products and processes
- Structured approach and self-discipline
- Ability to work across multiple teams to create scalable solutions, ability to facilitate discussions towards common understanding and alignment on best course of action
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a requirement
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and evaluate outcomes
- Delivery excellence in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
- Technical awareness, UI/UX, Agile approach & multitasking
- Proven ability to solve problems creatively
- Strong interpersonal skills and resourcefulness
- Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget and timeline.
