Position Profile:
If you’re the type of individual who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where you are developing and implementing new solutions, then the area of responsibilities would be quite impressive for you. The scope includes providing all infrastructure solutions in the company: databases, servers, network, VOIP, etc. Ensuring that Exness Technology teams is well provided with orchestration services in the clouds (AWS, alicloud) and on-premise based on k8s, services based on the PaaS model (Kafka, Redis, Keycloak, etc.), telemetry infrastructure (Grafana, Graylog, Jaeger including agents for collecting logs, metrics, and traces)
Responsibilities and challenges:
- Our main goal is to provide stable solutions, but we must continue implementing end-edge technologies to support product and brand awareness innovations.
- Build modern infrastructure for all core business domains with the best market solutions, including low latency network and infrastructure for high load services.
- Maintain a balance between using on-prem solutions and third-party clouds.
- Build solutions for fast scaling up of the internal cloud by business request or organic load.
- Build reliable infrastructure, resistant to failures of its parts.
- Build observable internal cloud with a comprehensive system for responding to emerging issues.
- Set up processes of forecasting internal cloud services load and preventing procurement procedures.
- Form a strategy of growing the internal cloud and its parts according to company strategy.
- Build internal cloud as a trustful partner of production tribes Exness Technology and business stakeholders. Coordinating with other teams (Trading, Finance, Legal, HR, Customer & IB care, and others) at strategic and operational levels. Following an ambitious Exness business strategy and be ready to scale up.
- The business growth is fast, and the internal cloud teams have to provide the best service following the speed of business growth.
- Drive geo decentralized infrastructure and solutions. Exness has retail clients in Europe, Asia, Africa, and South Africa. We must provide the best service, synchronized conditions around the world.
- Set up and establish SLAs for team solutions. Adjusting the SLAs with stakeholders.
Our Requirements:
- We need someone with experience in leading 50 to 150 technical specialists in your reporting line managed by a few direct reports (3-5);
- Experience with virtualization solutions (VMware or similar) design, implementation, maintenance & support;
- Networking knowledge: routers & switches, firewalls, LAN/WAN, VLANs. Experience with low latency networks is a huge plus.
- Server, storage & associated network hardware. Experience with the usage of ARM architecture is a plus.
- Databases: enterprise and open-source relational databases, NoSQL databases.
- Experience with data lakes and big data solutions is a plus.
- Cloud Technologies: AWS is preferable or other cloud solutions.
- Experience with container orchestration, Kubernetes is preferable.
- Experience with telemetry solutions. E.g: Graylog, Grafana, Jaeger, etc.
- Experience with VOIP as a plus;
- You’re excellent with process and people management skills and you’re able to combine your passion for technology with effective communication skills and enjoy challenges, problem-solving, and a fast-paced environment;
- You have experience managing the performance and development of high-performing Engineers, including seniors and leads;
- You’re a fantastic communicator and can easily collaborate with other departments cross-functionally;
