Machine operation
- Setting up the machines (cleaning / preparing, filling up material)
- Load production orders / jobs and assign parameters
- Start the machine and supervise the construction
- Dismantling the machines (powder removal, removal of the construction platform, cleaning)
Accompanying processes
- Material preparation (powder sieving and filling) including filter replacement
- Cleaning the filter housing, vacuum cleaner and wet separator
- Ensuring proper waste disposal
- Documentation accompanying the process in production documents and in the production data acquisition
- Transfer of the construction platforms to the post processing area
- First error analysis and its elimination and / or forwarding to superiors
R&D Support
- Supporting the R&D Team with special process knowledge during design. For example understanding of material printing behavior.
- This includes knowledge within AM and Post- process.
- Under the supervision of the Technology and Business Development Manager participates in arranging of scientific research and printing parameters development;
- Provides technical support of the Project:
- provides settings and adjustments of sophisticated and precision equipment;
- operates the equipment;
- monitors the equipment conditions and its proper utilization;
- Participates in providing optimization of conditions and modes of work equipment algorithms;
- Prepares design, technological and program documentation related to the Project; prepares reports under the Project;
- Participates in testing of experimental models of designed samples, setting up and equipment adjusting during experimentations;
- Develops equipment control algorithms;
- Develops the programs and testing methods of technology process;
- Provides systematic recording and quality control of equipment operating and actual equipment loading;
- Works and makes samples using the all equipment specified.
Documentation
- The typical deliverable of R&D Project is a set of documents which describes all used manufacturing process parameters .
- This has to be documented in an appropriate way.
- Technical Specification
- Process Flow charts/ production plan
- Production process Specifications etc.
Requirements
- Technical University degree in mechanical engineering or natural/ material sciences
- At least two year experience in working within additive manufacturing for metal
- Completed training with a practical background
- Professional experience in the production environment and experience with AM processes
- Very good technical understanding and good PC and office skills
- Willingness to work in shifts
- Resilience, good analytical skills, team spirit and coordination skills
- Enthusiasm for new technologies
- Willingness for further education and training
- Good command of English
