In helping the world agree more, we need to make the right decisions and accurate predictions in our product strategy. It requires not only to trust our gut feeling but to have solid data knowledge to back up us. We're collecting a lot of data from our users, and all the engineering, design and product teams work with it, but the work is decentralized
Your mission
To improve our product through the data-related solution by owning the entire Data function at Juro. It means you will be the first person in the Data team and will with our help create it from scratch. You will establish good practices, ensure sanity and security of data usage and help the teams to improve our product through data-related solutions.
You will:
- Solve practical data-related problems in collaboration with product design and engineering teams.
- Create user behaviour insights by working closely with product and customer success teams.
- Create and maintain a consistent data architecture across the company.
- Define the direction of the data strategy of Juro.
You’ll own:
- Existing tooling set-up: Segment ETL, Mode Analytics, Retool, MongoDB, PostgreSQL
- Budget for expanding the existing tooling
- Budget for external services and outsource companies
This might be for you if you have worked in an environment where you:
- Worked on data components of a product, e.g. implementing new product features.
- Created insights based on data, analysis, modelling that impacted the team, the product or the whole company.
- Worked with data strategy. Created strategy for the Data or Business Intelligence function in the company
- Created ML models or discovered insights based on data using R or Python programming language and had experience integrating machine learning into products
- Implemented data architecture and worked on defined architecture for DWH/ETL or creating a data model.
