What is Automation testing?

Automation Testing is a software testing technique that performs using special automated testing software tools to execute a test case suite. The goal of Automation is to reduce the number of test cases to be run manually but not to eliminate Manual Testing altogether. Using a test automation tool, it's possible to record test steps and replay them as required, or manually write a script/program for execution. Once the test suite is automated, no human intervention is required but some maintenance when requirements change.

What is included in the program?

1. Entrance testing of skills in QA discipline and also level of English;

2. Drawing up a Personal plan for professional development;

3. Teaching the basics of production, QA discipline and AQA (Automation Quality Assurance) tools;

4. Execution of test and real project tasks under the guidance of AQA mentor;

5. Participation is remote, workplaces are provided via a VPN channel;

6. Flexible working hours (to be discussed with your mentor), part time is possible;

7. Fixed remuneration every month;

8. After successful completion you may join Sperasoft team as a regular employee.

What will you do?

• Perform Manual and Automation QA tasks under the guidance of mentor (create, support and document test plan and scenarios; work with engineers to develop black box automated tests ensuring software is robust, bug free, and achieves desired outcomes and quality bars; run test scenarios, analyze results and create reports, etc);

• Follow existing practices within the team;

• Manage tasks in own scope, coordinate work with mentor and peers;

• Receive and collect knowledge, gain practical experience;

• Practice code review technics.

Basic requirements:

• Strong desire to grow as QA/Automation QA engineer;

• Knowledge of QA theory;

• Basic knowledge of OOP fundamentals and any of these languages (JAVA, Python);

• English not lower than A2 Pre-intermediate level (all documentation is in English);

• Good communication skills.

Would be a plus, but not necessary:

• Minimum experience as a QA engineer (Manual QA, Automation QA);

• Experience in creation of test documentation (test plan, test case, checklist, etc.);

• Knowledge of test cases design techniques (boundary, decision tables, etc.);

• Experience with tracking and version control systems (JIRA, Perforce, GIT).
