The world's largest manufacturer of automotive components is looking for a Service Engineer.
Job description
Service network support and development
- Maintain and strengthen current specialized service network (Diesel/Air Conditioning);
- Maintain regular communication with key people in parts distributors and service dealers;
- Support technical preparation for candidate service dealers for network expansion;
- Conduct audits to confirm compliance with established requirements, rules and standards;
- Check performance of service network with issuing reports on monthly/quarterly basis and carry out improvement activities;
- Support in service dealer’s utilization for carmaker support and conduct all necessary activities;
Warranty
- Receive, process and handle claims with further issue of official letters for customers;
- Maintain electronic claim handling system;
- Issue quality analysis and claim handling reports on monthly basis;
- Investigate products failure in the field and create reports for related product divisions;
- Assist in investigation of all technical issues;
Sales support
- Provide technical support to parts distributors, service dealers, end-users, colleagues by phone/email/periodical visits on daily basis;
- Provide necessary product and repair training to parts distributors, service dealers, end-users, colleagues;
- Carry out technical seminars for customers in Russia and CIS countries and participate in sales stimulating activities;
Other general items
- Carry out and support equipment/products tests and launch;
- Study and analyze information, technical data, indexes and results of work, generalize and systemize them, carry out necessary calculations;
- Prepare work schedules, orders, applications, instructions, explanation notes, maps, schemes, other technical documentation, as well as established reports in approved formats according to defined deadlines;
- Support during project realization and implementation of plans, programs and agreements;
- Provide support in translation into Russian language of technical articles, documents, and presentations.
Requirements:
- Automotive college/university degree;
- Preferable experience as mechanic and/or foreman at passenger/commercial car dealer;
- Minimal automotive experience 3 years;
- Strong knowledge of passenger/commercial vehicle construction and operation;
- English level – intermediate;
- Basic skills in MS office;
Compensation and benefits:
- Monthly salary discuss individually;
- The bonus is paid once a year depending on the achievement of annual goals and objectives as a percentage of the annual salary;
