Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering
5+ years of relevant electrical engineering experience
Extensive experience in the design of digital and analog circuits, electrical motor control, motion control systems and power supplies
Experience in development of digital and analog interfaces for computer-based systems, cameras and sensors interfaces and IoT are a plus.
Experienced in the selection and use of microcontrollers, DSPs, and programmable logic devices and their peripheral circuitry (signal conditioning, voltage level translators, etc.)
Experience debugging and resolving practical hardware problems and iterating on designs
Experience with industry standard software (Altium, SolidworksElectrical, etc)
Experience with common communications techniques including: i2c, SPI, CAN, USB, and high-speed communications
Full development and manufacturing cycle experience related to small-scale production (including creation BOM and PVT)
Experience with C/C++ development on embedded devices/MCUs
What will you do?
Actively participate in the design of motor drive systems,electronics, software, and hardware
Help define the control and hardware architecture for a variety of motor applications including stepper motors brushless DC motor (BLDC) and electronic valves & sensors
Generate and document system electrical block diagrams, electrical schematics, related work using Altium Designer
Simulate and model circuit designs, perform power analyses, and thermal management for high readability applications.
Develop and debug real-time firmware in C/C++ for PIC, ARM, STM, etc. automotive grade microcontrollers
Take part into test bench development
Integrate inertial measurement devices (IMU), odometry devices and lidars
Design, prototype, validate and prepare electronics products for manufacturing.
Generate electric part lists and Bill of Materials, review part screening
Design and develop hardware test procedures
Communicate with suppliers to convey manufacturing and assembly requirements for electronic products, with a variety of contract manufacturers
Use of general electronic test tools (o-scope, soldering iron, function generator) to support software development and prototype testing activities.
Manage improvements and revisions of existing hardware designs
