Responsibilities
- Participation in comprehensive projects with focus on Greenhouse Gas management system development, GHG assurance (ISAE 3410), climate risk assessment; (as preference)
- Leading role in consulting projects. Direct communication with C-level executives from client side and supervision of junior staff;
- GHG emissions quantification for different industries;
- Preparation of analytical reports and benchmark analysis;
- Elaboration of policies and internal standards on GHG issues;
- Preparation of presentation materials and commercial proposals to potential clients;
- Participation in development of new services;
- Dealing with client executives on project issues.
To fill the role a candidate is expected to meet the following requirements:
- General understanding of anthropogenic factors of Climate Change, Greenhous Gas emission sources, general trends in Policies and actions being taken at global/national/sectoral and corporate level to tackle the Climate Change;
- General understanding of energy sources, energy supply, demand and key energy flows at industry; primary and secondary energy, conversion factors between physical and energy units for fuels;
- Higher education in environmental science/engineering/energy/ from leading Russian and international universities;
- More than 2 years’ experience of at least one project related GHG quantification and/or energy efficiency improvement in industry/communal service/agriculture/transport/construction/consumer goods.
- Upper intermediate/Advanced oral and writing English. ;
- Knowledge of international methodologies in relation to GHG reporting (GHG protocol, IPCC 2006, ISO 14064, ISAE 3410 etc.),
