At WayRay, we believe that we are never done learning and growing. We are a team of professionals that are continuously gaining new knowledge, experimenting with new approaches, and developing our emotional intelligence.
At present, we are looking for an intern into perception team, to be a vital member of the Software department that is developing a new rendering engine.
We need an intern familiar with computer vision and deep learning to focus on tasks related to perception algorithms development for our AR Rendering Engine.
Primary Tasks:
- Data engineering/data processing tasks (labeling of data, development of infrastructure, analysis and visualization of the results)
- Writing tests to cover trained models quality estimation and correctness of models integration into C++ application
- Supporting experiments with new architectures (implementation of new models, analysis of the results, research of the existing approaches)
Expected Results:
- Contribution to infrastructure (data processing pipelines, datasets preparation and results analysis)
- Models testing and benchmarking
Requirements:
- Good knowledge of basic math: linear algebra, statistics and optimization
- Basic experience in image processing: opencv, scikit-image, matplotlib
- Good knowledge of Python or C++, classical algorithms and data structures
- Experience with DL frameworks (tensorflow, pytorch) and modern practices of software development: git, TDD, CI/CD, etc.
- Technical English sufficient to read and write
Nice to have:
- Participation in Kaggle competitions
- Familiar with coordinate system conversions, Euler angles, rotation matrix and quaternions
- Experience with ROS
